I’ve been waiting for some new Broken Bells for quite some time. “Holding On For Life” certainly does the fix. James Mercer’s voice is as recognizable as ever and the production is super groovy. Can’t help but compare it to the Bee Gees and Electric Guest, one old school favorite and one new school. The Broken Bells’ sophomore album will be out in January and up for pre-order tomorrow.
